SOUL & FAST

DURABLE | LIGHT | HIGH PERFORMANCE

The idea:

Our main goal is durability. Performance is of the same importance, but our focus is durability so that the masts will last. This is one of the reasons why we have decided to make the masts 96% carbon for performance and we use 4% of other materials to add the durability. Furthermore, after many years of testing and development we have found out that some glass fibers in the mast give it the right flexibility and softness to the sail, so it feels stable and many times faster.

For clients that are looking for best price in performance we developed 64% carbon masts. They are meant to last, but with a decent carbon percentage the performance will surprise you.

Both constructions have a constant curve that fit most of the sails brands if not all of them. We offer following options length/carbon percentage:

Fast C96 - SDM 430, 460, 490, 520, 550
Fast C64 – SDM 370, 400, 430, 460, 490, 520

Technology:

We build our masts in mandrel wrapping technology using just the first quality carbon pre-preg; all our pre-pregs come with a certification of the carbon fiber quality and the resin content consistency. We produce all the 96% carbon masts line with autoclave consistency, while 64% carbon content masts are cured in a standard oven.

Design:

To bring some funkiness and soul back to the sport and to make things more clear we draw on the RDM line that we have called the Soul - dolphins and on the SDM line that we have called Fast - sharks. All the lengths have also its own colour, so it is easy to find the length you need. It is always useful, especially if you manage to bring your kids or wife to the windy beach, to help you with rigging, you can ask them to bring the two sticks with the pink dolphin from the car, instead of the RDM 400 .
